Research Interest

My research interests focus on the added value of school-based agricultural education programs for student learning and development. I am aiming to collect evidence on how agricultural education programs contribute to the overall educational goals of a school system as well as the learning and development needs of students in order to justify continued investment into these programs. My current research investigates the impact of restorative learning environments used in agricultural education, such as school gardens, greenhouses, and farms, on the stress levels and attention capacity of students.
