DESCRIPTION:Our own Dr. Lynne Carpenter-Boggs\, Professor of Soil Science at WSU will present “Composting for Foreign Animal Disease Management.” \nPlease join us for seminars in Clark Hall 149\, with snacks and coffee\, at 2:10 pm or via zoom. \n  \nDr. Carpenter-Boggs’ bio: \nDr. Lynne Carpenter-Boggs is a Professor of Soil Science at WSU. Her specializations include sustainable agricultural systems\, biological soil fertility\, and composting. She will discuss the use of composting to manage livestock mortalities including over 30 million poultry composted during the 2022 avian flu outbreak.
