Samantha Beck, mentored by Shantel A. Martinez in the Camille M Steber Lab, was awarded the Crimson Award during the 2017 SURCA in Molecular, Cellular, and Chemical Biology on Identification of a locus corresponding to the Enhanced Response to Abscisic acid, ERA8, gene of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)”.

Bill Pan was just chosen as the Soil Science Society of America President-Elect.

Henry Simtim was selected as a recipient for a GPSA Award of Excellence for his contributions as a Research Assistant.
