Education Development and Assessment

Several faculty in our department focus a large portion of scholarly activity in the areas of teacher training, curriculum development and program assessment. These efforts include developing programs and training opportunities for K-12 teachers, developing curriculum and teaching approaches to meet the ever-changing needs in higher education, and assessing student learning at the program level. The goal of these efforts is to provide a world class education in the plant, soil and agricultural sciences to a multi-faceted range of learners.
