CropS 305: Ecology and Management of Weeds

Research

Herbicide Resistance: Herbicide resistance is a troublesome problem in current conservation farming systems, especially with the adoption of minimum disturbance systems as herbicides play such an important role in those systems. The focus of this project is to sustain herbicides for current and future use by developing management strategies for tolerant and resistant weeds based on biological, ecological, and genetic principles.
